Painted by Zensho Yamaoka, a Kyoto-style painter, by Tohaku Hasegawa.

The picture is of maple trees. The dough is made from Satsuma ware, and it has a double structure, making it a superb item made with extremely high technology.

*Tohaku Hasegawa lived from the Azuchi-Momoyama period to the early Edo period (1539 – 1610).

He was a painter. His works are designated as national treasures and important cultural properties.
