Mamezara, a small dish, has patterns drawn with the techniques of Cochin and Icchin, which has been handed down in Kyoto. The techniques are delicate; drawing a transparent vitreous glaze (Cochin) into the frame drawn sterically (Icchin). Colorful mamezara brings out a festive mood.
